A lodger who punched, kicked and bit his landlord after being challenged about his drinking has been jailed.
Mickey Boots punched the landlord in the face before kicking him and biting his nose after an argument about his drinking habits in August of this year.
The police were called to reports of the disturbance and shouting at a property in Yaxley, near Peterborough.
When they arrived, they discovered the victim covered in blood and Boots, 24, was later arrested.
Boots claimed he was drunk and didn’t remember biting the victim’s nose but later pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm.
He was jailed for 14 months at Peterborough Crown Court on December 2.
PC Nick Southern, who investigated, said: “Boots’ vicious attack left the victim with some nasty injuries. This sort of violence will never be tolerated and I am glad justice has been done.”
