An advert offering a van for rent as a home for £220 per month has appeared on Gumtree.
The advert for the van, which was posted by the owner, claims that the vehicle comes with all the facilities required for “winter living”, including a fire burner, cooker, oven, sink, tap, double bed and kitchen table.
The LDV Convoy minibus, which is available from 1 November, is parked on the High Street in Easton, Bristol, where several people have reportedly taken to living in vans after being priced out of renting or buying residential property in the local area.
The rent is listed at £220 per month but the lower figure of £160 a month also appears in the advert.
