Loyalty programmes are popping up in every corner of the retail space, and that is because businesses understand the importance of retaining existing customers and increasing customer loyalty. But there is not usually any extra benefit to using a letting agency, other than utilising the services they provide.
But HM Lettings, part of The Nottingham building society, is now able to offer a unique and rewarding proposition for those who rent out properties or are set to do so.
As part of the society’s Member Rewards initiative – which includes a series of cashback offers and discounts for members who are in the ‘savings habit’ and have at least £500 in an account – there are now additional benefits to doing lettings business with The Nottingham.
Any qualifying member looking to rent a property can gain from a 20% discount on standard fully managed fees. There’s also £25 cashback available on a landlord insurance policy taken out via The Nottingham.
In addition, landlords that look to grow their property portfolio can also ‘cash in’ on fee-free mortgage advice from the society, typically worth £249, if they are a qualifying member.
Stephen Reade, lettings operations manager at HM Lettings, said: “The Nottingham, of which HM Lettings is an integral part, prides itself on its members and introduced the Member Rewards proposition, which is unique in the financial services sector, last year.
“The lettings team are delighted to now be a part of it too and to be able to potentially reward our current qualifying landlords and those that we work with moving forward.
“We are absolutely determined to provide the best level of service to our landlords and to manage their properties excellently – for them and for their tenants. However, it’s really pleasing to be able to add a bit of icing on the cake by being able to offer them something back for trusting us in looking after their assets.”
