Expert advice for newcomer landlords

With buy-to-let returns continuing to beat all other mainstream investments, including commercial property, UK government bonds and cash, while remaining a highly popular alternative to the volatility investors often risk when investing in the stock market, many people are choosing to invest in the UK housing market, even during this uncertain economic period.

For those of you who have recently entered the buy-to-let market for the first time, Simon Shinerock, chairman of Choices Estate Agency, has provided a few tips to help ensure that your property investment is a success.

With more than 30 years of experience in the property sector, Shinerock, who last year released the Advanced Rent Option, which allows landlords to receive a year's rent in advance, has provided a forward-looking view of the PRS, including crucial advice for discerning buy-to-let investors, as part of a five-part video series, hosted by Property Tribes.
