Most pet-friendly UK postcodes revealed

Tenants who own at least one pet will often struggle to find pet-friendly accommodation, and yet despite efforts to encourage more landlords to accept renters with pets, this remains an issue across the UK.

Research shows that most renters continue to have difficulty finding pet-friendly accommodation, mainly because most landlords are unhappy about tenants keeping pets and refuse to allow them as a matter of course.

But new research by video-viewings rental app Movebubble has discovered some of the most pet-friendly postcodes in the UK.

Health and safety has always been my objection to having pets in a property. If a tenant moving into a property is allergic to cats and/or dogs, and the property has had them living there, what then? Deep cleaning won't remove everything.

We have to ban these pets for the welfare of our next tenants. Many are allergic. Some pets eg fish, possibly hamsters etc in cages could be OK in this regard.
