A new purpose-built student accommodation complex in Swansea pledges to shake up the way students live in the city with, amongst other things, “multiple themed sky lounges.”
A development firm, called true student, has announced a £90m four-block 706-bedroom scheme across 2.85 acres.
Located in the north east of the city, the scheme claims to set a new standard where “the supply of high-quality purpose-built student accommodation in the city to date remains relatively low with little choice to meet the surging demand of record growing student numbers.”
A statement from true student says the scheme will have a festival zone, cinema, multiple themed sky lounges, dedicated library and quiet study areas, plus cafe and pantry facilities. There will be a 24/7 wellbeing centre including a gym.
Owned by The Bricks Group, the true student brand already manages over 4,500 beds across the UK and managing director Ben Morley says: “This development is our most ambitious yet and we are raising the bar even higher, setting new standards & expectations for student living.”
He pledges that it will “leave our guests, teams and partners feeling energized, connected and inspired.”
