Coup for landlords’ group winning prestigious national award

The magazine produced by the National Residential Landlords Association has won a prestigious award.

The publication - called Property - has been named Best Magazine at the National Association Awards, with the NRLA also bagging silver in the Best Membership Organisation category.

The National Association Awards recognise the work and success of associations, federations, chambers of commerce, societies and membership organisations across all sectors in the UK.

The NRLA was singled out for the quality of its campaigns work at the awards ceremony in London, with judges saying: “NRLA’s campaigning work brought about real change. Very impressive and congratulations.”

Ben Beadle, NRLA chief executive, says in a tribute to the hard work of the NRLA team: “To win two awards when the organisation is just over a year old is a huge achievement. Not least in the middle of a pandemic.

“We are all immensely proud of the work we do on behalf of our members and the judges’ decision reflects that.”

On the success of the magazine in scooping gold, he adds: “The editorial team works hard to create a magazine that is member-focused, showcasing diverse, unique and inspirational landlord stories alongside the association's campaigns and research work, legislation updates and practical advice.

“A big congratulations and thanks to all involved, particularly our editor Sally Walmsley. We pledge to continue the good work and hope that these accolades will be the first of many.”
