Why is it that most can see that it is the lack of housing stock that causes the increase in rent, not the number of landlords. It is basic supply and demand.

Interesting that in one hand the government via the Bank of England are potentially reducing the supply of renting stock, but on the other hand want landlords to provide more homes for those that cannot afford to buy their own.
